As a Heavy Truck Mechanic familiar with class 8 trucks, trailers, and hydraulic systems, your day is fast-paced and independent. You troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and trucks using your expertise in mechanical components. Attentive to detail, you conduct inspections, perform repairs, and provide routine maintenance tasks. You also research technical information, maintain accurate records, and prioritize safety protocols. A self-starter, you remain motivated and focused throughout the day, managing your time effectively to complete repairs within deadlines. Overall, your day as a Heavy Truck Mechanic is challenging and rewarding, and you enjoy working independently in a dynamic and fun environment! ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB? The knowledge and skills required for the position are the following: 2+ years of related job experience Driver's license and a good driving record Current DOT medical card Ability to perform maintenance and repairs in any weather condition The possession of a CDL would be a bonus.
