COMPANY BACKGROUND Mr. Hospitality is a fully integrated hospitality management group that conceptualizes, owns and operates restaurants and nightlife destinations. With 20 years of combined experience in the food and beverage industry, Mr. H has brought dining, art, fashion and entertainment to a new level of sophistication by fully understanding the U.S market. We are looking to hire an Executive Chef who will be responsible for the overall success of the daily kitchen operations of all our venues, to run a world-class kitchen while keeping us at the forefront of culinary trends. This position reports to the COO directly. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food-related functions. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high-quality product is produced. Responsibilities: Supervises kitchen manager, pastry chef, and sous chef including recruiting, disciplining, terminating, completing yearly performance evaluations, and ensuring payroll accuracy of the team. Responsible for all kitchen areas to ensure safety, consistency, and excellence Mr. Hospitality is known for Ensures sanitation and food standards are achieved and maintained throughout Ensuring health code compliance and regulation are carried out to the highest standards and up to date Oversees all food preparation processes along with service stations and supports all areas Responsible for maintaining venue kitchen budget by staying within the margins for food cost and labor cost Oversee and manage stewarding department Ensure close collaboration and communication with Procurement Manager and Purchasing Department Position Details Qualifications: Degree in Culinary or relevant field. Minimum 5 years of proven work experience in high-end hospitality field Spanish speaking is required. Must be proficient in Excel spreadsheets, Craftable which is our software to place food orders and manage cost, and ability to manage budget and understand a P&L, strong analytical skills, both fast and accurate in handling financial data.
