POSITION OVERVIEW NBME ® is seeking a Project Control Manager, responsible for production management, control, project management, and delivery. This position will lead the design and implementation of production routines to ensure product delivery and improve metrics in terms of cost and service. Additionally, this position will lead project teams to ensure deliverables are on time, within scope, and on budget. This role has been designated as primarily remote which means it generally does not require onsite work more than an average of 2-3 times per month and may require additional prescheduled onsite work. We're open to considering candidates in the following states: PA, NJ, DE and MD. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees execution of production tasks for existing products Serves as the first point of contact/liaises between cross-department stakeholders, project stakeholders and project team to ensure project success Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure that all production activities are identified and tracked With subject matter experts, identifies opportunities to improve production processes and enhance the internal customer experience through voice of the customer feedback Accountable for on-time and on-budget project execution Collaborates with product owners to assess and negotiate project scope against project goals Plans, prepares for, and facilitates a variety of meetings, included but not limited to project status meetings, decision-making meetings, customer journey mapping and prioritization meetings Manages resolution of project issues including proper escalation to project stakeholders Creates, executes, monitors and revises project plan to meet changing project requirements and resources Manages project procurement (products and services required by third parties) and consults resources as needed Conducts risk assessment and implement appropriate mitigation strategy as predefined with project team/stakeholders Manages the NBME Test Design process and documents the outcome of test design meetings Identifies project and production resource requirements and timelines and negotiates with appropriate NBME units on resource availability and allocation for existing and future initiatives Plans for new product implementations by participating in planning meetings for prototyping and pilot projects and subsequent production implementation With project team, develops and manages the cross-departmental implementation plan Design and administer companywide continuous improvement training as needed QUALIFICATIONS Skills and Abilities Management and/or team leadership skills Exceptional problem solving, analytical and organization skills with detail-oriented attitude Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated track record of superior customer service Expertise with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills Exceptional meeting facilitation and presentation skills Experience Minimum 3 years' experience in both project and production management While not required, some experience in the assessment industry is preferred Similarly, some experience with Lean Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement methods is likewise preferred Education Bachelor's Degree PMP or APICS Certifications are preferred About NBME: NBME offers a versatile selection of high-quality assessments and educational services for students, professionals, educators, regulators and institutions dedicated to the evolving needs of medical education and health care.
