What we're looking for: an Assistant Program Director Nursing at our Ontario Campus. Summary: This is a teaching position, with release time for administrative duties at any time and at the discretion of the Program Director. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director assumes responsibility for the administration of the Registered Nursing Program, in conformance with applicable regulations, requirements, and policies. The Assistant Director instructs nursing courses as assigned and acts as a student advocate. What We Offer: The targeted starting pay range for this position is between $115,000 - $150,000 per year. You will accrue two to three weeks of paid vacation your first five years with eleven paid holidays. We offer state-compliant sick leave, disability insurance, and company-paid life insurance. Qualifications: The Assistant Director must possess a master's or higher degree which includes coursework in nursing, education or administration. The Assistant Director must have at least two years teaching experience at the "Instructor" classification in a pre- or post-licensure registered nursing program such as associate, baccalaureate, master's, or doctoral degree nursing programs. The Assistant Director shall have a minimum of one year continuous, full-time experience, or equivalent, as a registered nurse providing direct patient care. The Assistant Director must have all required certificates, licenses and registrations required for the course(s) they are to teach, including a clear and active RN license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
