The position is ideal for individuals looking for opportunities for career advancement at one of the most respected refrigeration and HVAC companies in New England. What you will be doing: Assist Installation Technician in the performance of HVAC/R installation work Assist in duct/fitting fabrication and assembly as required Soldering/brazing Clean equipment & work area Keep assigned vehicle organized and clean, under the direction of the Installation Technician· Perform/assist with maintenance if needed Other duties as needed Qualifications: Valid driver's license with insurable driving record 1 years of Commercial installation preferably sheet metal experience, or combination of education and experience. EPA Universal Certification desired Ability to hang evaporation coils and install overhead hangers Ability to use hand and power tools and good mechanical skills Ability to complete sheet metal layouts and some fabrications, good mechanical skills Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to wire installations desired Knowledge of refrigeration systems and piping of refrigeration equipment desired Knowledge of plumbing and pipe fittings, and ability to pipe refrigeration equipment desired Knowledge of blueprints, detailing HVAC duct fittings Ability to life 100 pounds Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes High School Diploma or equivalent Pass background check HVAC trade school Certification desired Check us out online: www.atlanticrefrigerationofhudson.com apprentice, install, HVAC, labor, helper, construction, air conditioning, AC, A/C, heating, furnace, heat pump, entry level, installer, install job, entry level job
