A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN As a Field Service Technician, you are a frontline service leader to our dealers. You are responsible for job site service, preventative maintenance of machinery, and customer service. Each day, you work closely with dealers to help troubleshoot and repair machines. You perform weekly technical calls to the dealers for general industrial maintenance training as well as weekly conference calls to the sales and service group to keep everyone connected. The exceptional customer service and support that you provide to all clients is legendary. You submit accurate daily work orders and other paperwork in a timely manner. You provide documentation of each dealer visit, customer field audit, and technical support call to the national service managers weekly as well as monthly. As you stay current with all improvements in technology and heavy equipment, you are able to effectively communicate to all personnel and ensure they have sufficient knowledge to successfully support the product. You are attentive to safety, always following proper procedures. Happy that you aren't stuck at a desk all day, you enjoy being out in the field meeting people and making things happen! QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of related work experience Ability to comprehend tech drawings and schematics A college or technical degree in the field is preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
