A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIELD SUPERVISOR As a Field Supervisor, you maintain a high level of professionalism and patience as you work with coworkers and customers alike. You have excellent communication and coordination skills, and that is clearly demonstrated as you speak with each team within our service department. Every day, you interact with our customers to sell and promote our services. When new team members are hired, you help train them to effectively convert calls to booked service appointments. You create a formal coaching and training system that is goal-oriented and measurable, with incentive programs to inspire and motivate staff in each department. When new jobs come in, you estimate the size and cost. As jobs progress, you monitor the performance of our field technicians and, as necessary, advise them on proper service and quality workmanship. You hold our technicians accountable for meeting goals, work quality, customer service, and growth. When there are procedural changes, you ensure that our staff is properly trained and up to date. You handle a variety of project planning tasks to assist our team. Additionally, you run the process, safety, and culture-building portions of the meetings. You also help manage a variety of office duties. You love helping our team succeed! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PLUMBING SALES MANAGER - SERVICE FIELD SUPERVISOR Residential plumbing experience with knowledge of the union contract 5+ years of project management experience Construction management experience Knowledge about our flat-rate pricing system as well as contractual pricing Knowledge about plumbing codes and standards for both Oregon and Washington Basic knowledge of computers and technology Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Customer service skills OSHA training is preferred Experience with ServiceTitan would be a huge plus. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. WORK SCHEDULE FOR A FIELD SUPERVISOR This full-time project management position typically works 8-hour shifts during the week with some on-call and weekend shifts .
