The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) provides quality rehabilitation services to those facing life-changing injuries or illnesses. We specialize in the areas of brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and complex medical conditions. RHI is the only Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model System in the state of Indiana and one of only 16 in the U.S. RHI has two locations. Our facility on the northwest side of Indianapolis provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to patients 15 years of age and older. Our facility on the north side of Indianapolis specializes in outpatient, interdisciplinary brain injury services for ages 15 and older as well as serves clientele with neuro and ortho-physical therapy needs and pediatric vision needs. Summary The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist-PRN is responsible for following a physician's order. Utilizing AIDET for patient care. Proper patient positioning. Maneuvering radiology equipment and producing quality images for diagnostic purposes. The technologist will demonstrate the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients aged 15 and older. Must treat patients with care and respect. Essential Functions Requires independent judgment and the ability to work alone Prepares and positions patients appropriately for radiology exams Follows radiation and safety guidelines Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images Must be able to operate a C-Arm Ability to prioritize responsibilities Excellent written and verbal communication Education/Licensure/Certification Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current license from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Basic Life Support Certification required The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
