A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COUNSELOR - OUTPATIENT AND YOUNG ADULT As a counselor working in our outpatient treatment programs, you will interview patients, coordinate assessments, and prepare a narrative summary/bio including problem areas, patient strengths, treatment recommendations and diagnosis. Counselors work on focus areas identified by mental health, youth and young adults, and their supports. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COUNSELOR - OUTPATIENT AND YOUNG ADULT Master's Degree and Ohio licensure (LPC/LSW , LPCC/LISW) Competency or training in chemical dependency treatment Competency or training in youth and young adult care Hours will be Monday through Friday 10-6pm but are flexible based on patient needs.
