About being our Land Surveyor I As our Land Surveyor I , you will be part of a survey team with a wide variety of projects spanning the public and private sectors. These range from Education Facilities from Elementary to UC and Private Universities, Public Facilities to include Highways, Airports, Rail Transit, Subways, and Quality of Life projects such as Museums, Cultural Centers, and Parks, Airspace Subdivision, and Low income housing project to name a few. As our Land Surveyor I , you will be a part of a growing but established team who has skill sets of all levels you can learn from. We believe mentoring is key and want our employees to grow into complete and well-rounded surveyors. Responsibility Highlights for our Land Surveyor I Perform tasks for a broad range of assignments that will expand your knowledge of surveying and mapping Perform parcel research using on-line resources Calculate record information for the analysis of boundary and easements Process field data and preparation of topographic maps Prepare legal descriptions and plats Provide support to field crews Collaborate with other members of the survey team to deliver quality survey products Minimum Qualifications to be our Land Surveyor I High School Diploma/GED Preferred Qualifications to be our Land Surveyor I Experience with one or more of the following programs: Carlson, Trimble TBC, MicroStation, InRoads Public mapping experience Topographic design mapping Experience in AutoCAD/Civil3D Experience interpreting deeds and land descriptions Fundamental knowledge of boundary survey principles Job Posted by ApplicantPro
