Position Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for planning and leading projects from creation to completion, ensuring customer and organizational success factors are achieved within the prescribed project timeframe and funding parameters. This position will coordinate and manage labor requirements combined with directing project material and resource needs within a highly collaborative work environment through interaction with internal and external project stakeholders. *We are searching for a dynamic, multi-level growth individual * LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid Role - Travel between Milwaukee and Madison) Essential Duties and responsibilities: Create and implement project plans in accordance with business requirements and with the help of domain experts, establishing a work plan, assigning staff, and coordinating staff duties for each phase of the project. Coordinates bids for projects with the help of estimators by analyzing blueprints and spec sheets to determine material and labor requirements. Reviews and negotiates contracts. Calls on regular and prospective customers to maintain relationship and/or secure future sales. Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phased of project. Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies. Responsible for the safety of project personnel and complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Continuously keep the project sponsors, key stakeholders, and project team informed as to the project's purpose, background, scope, requirements and critical issues. Monitor suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits Participate in solution design, testing, training, and/or documentation to ensure project success. Assist in developing project management standards and tools which include procedures, templates, tools, sharing best practices, etc. Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement. Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products. Coach, mentor, and train staff on business analysis and project management methodology. Promotes organization in industry, manufacturing or trade associations. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree in business management, construction management, or similar discipline - Preferred 3+ years' construction project management experience (experience in glass & glazing industry preferred) - Preferred Ability to read and comprehend architectural blueprints, drawings and specifications - Required Basic math and algebra skills, along with the ability to understand ruler measurements - Required Proficient in the use of PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook and Word) - Preferred Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, email and telephone - Required Ability to work independently and/or within in a team and use sound judgment - Required Advanced time management and organizational skills and be able to prioritize and multi-task - Required Strong problem solving, analytical and decision making skills - Required Ability to work extra hours as projects and workloads require - Required Experience with contract management & negotiation - Required Omni Glass & Paint, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Encourages Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities to apply.
