ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform Accounts Payable entry for Purchase Order and Non-Purchase order vendor invoices Ensures accurate and timely recording of payables, including review of all incoming invoices Document scanning and electronic routing of invoices Ensures proper file maintenance for audit purposes Resolve discrepancies between vendor invoicing and purchase orders; for any price and/or quantity discrepancies Reconcile vendor statements Work closely with other accounting personnel, purchasing and field personnel to resolve any issues related to voucher processing, including coding, pricing, and receipt of goods Contact with external vendors regarding invoicing issues and inquiries Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures Ability to analyze large amounts of data in Excel Requires regular, predictable, and punctual attendance. All other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work in sitting or standing position continuously Exert up to 30 pounds occasionally Normal office environment Minimum Qualifications Education High School Diploma Basic knowledge of accounting practices 1-5 years' experience in related field Experience 1-5 Years' experience in related field Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel with the ability to quickly master new programs. Ability to maintain high quality of data entry with minimal input errors Experience completing routine 3-way match for supplier invoicing, resolving differences, and following up on supplier payment issues. Ability to write in a clear and concise manner. Ability to speak effectively Mathematical skills.
