Spa Mirbeau is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Therapist Manager to assist in day-to-day operations. The Therapist Manager will report directly to the Director of Spa Mirbeua. Responsibilities Scheduling therapists Responsible for mentoring, evaluating, and training the therapist staff. Model exceptional customer service skills for the entire staff to emulate. Set the tone for the therapist staff and be responsible for maintaining positive work environment by fielding therapist's complaints and facilitating solutions-oriented discussions. Conduct evaluations and facilitate trainings for therapists. Create the bridge between the bodywork professionals and front staff. Mentor therapist staff in respectful and honest manner effectively communicating and helping to create "habits of success." Leadership Responsibilities Be part of the leadership team and responsible for modeling behavior for the entire therapist staff May conduct interviews, write incident reports and/or hire or terminate therapist. May attend meetings of massage associations and/or recruiting events. May be involved in creating incentive programs. Input all therapist and wages into Resort Suite Maintain and evaluate for approval all schedule changes and request. Involved in service changes and procedures. Update all treatment procedure and notify therapist. Assist in daily room sign for treatment rooms. Inventory and Quality Control Maintain inventory for Back Bar products for treatments. Quality control on product usage Maintain Organization and Cleanliness of Treatment rooms/Dispensary . Keep consistency in all treatment rooms. Maintain all par levels in treatment rooms of linens/towels. Keep dispensary organized clean and stocked. Requirements 2 years' experience in spa and/or hospitality management, or related field Excellent communication and guest services abilities Advanced knowledge in computer use and software applications Problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Motivate and inspire the team to encourage their success, both personally and professionally The health and well-being of our team members is a high priority at Mirbeau.
