We are currently hiring a Building Engineer to work at the Naval base in Algiers. A City of New Orleans Stationary Engineer License is a plus. This is a full time job, with 10 paid federal holidays. The pay rate is $22/hr. Duties include, but are not limited to:- Maintenance of all HVAC equipment- Basic Plumbing- Basic Electrical work- Door Hardware Maintenance- Managing and maintaining stock of necessary materials- Coordinating with Vendors as needed- Using facility work ticket system to receive and complete all work orders Must be able to pass drug screen and extensive federal background check.
