Description:
Responsible for daily financial management of the organization to increase profit through prudent financial practices and monitoring and enforcing compliance and financial reporting. Duties: • Daily bookkeeping and GL management • Financial heavy lifting in QB Online and financial analysis working with CEO to make decisions and creation of metrics for multiple small businesses and for CEO's personal affairs • Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company. • Prepare quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting. • Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company's finances. • Prepare the documentation of the company's financial status and forecasts. • Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company's status and financial forecasts. Qualifications: • QB and/or QB Online experience • Attention to detail • Strong quantitative skills • Working knowledge of GAAP principles • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple projects • Experience creating variance reports for several businesses • Understanding of confidentiality • Adept at analyzing information • Adaptive • Financial modeling skills • Education and Experience Preferences: • 3-5 years bookkeeping/accounting experience • BA or BS in economics, finance, accounting, or related field
