The following states are excluded from this job ad: AK, CA, CO, CT, HI, MA, NJ, NY, OR, PR, VT, WA, WY Location: Remote Position Description: The Cloud Security Analyst (Continuous Monitoring) supports the Continuous Monitoring of cloud computing systems by building upon existing processes and artifacts, assessing the deployed security controls, and utilizing different cloud service models. Minimum/General Experience: 5 years of experience as a Cloud Security Analyst Minimum Education: Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline; AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification and/or Azure Fundamentals Certification (preferred) Essential Skills/Qualifications: Excellent experience with Continuous Monitoring of cloud computing systems Excellent experience authoring and reviewing security artifacts Excellent experience documenting and building upon existing processes Average knowledge of the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Knowledge of secure application deployment in cloud environments (e.g., Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS)) Experience with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Cloud Security Technical Reference Architecture (CSTRA) Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) process Experience managing small, large, and complex security programs for a variety of IT products, systems and networks Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure Above average analysis and problem-solving skills Above average attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively with a team of peers Familiarity with NIST 880-137 (preferred) Security : Ability to obtain/maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident that has lived in the United States for at least 3 years Federal Civilian Public Trust Consists of a review of up to but not limited to: Covers 5-10 year period and in some instances lifetime events OPM Security Investigations Index (SII) DOD Defense Central Investigations Index (DCII) National Agency Check (NAC) records FBI name check FBI fingerprint check Credit report check Written inquiries to previous employers and references listed on the application for employment Potential interviews with the subject, spouse, neighbors, supervisor, coworkers Law enforcement check Court records check Education check- Attendance and Degrees Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to: Builds upon existing processes and artifacts to maintain the continuous monitoring program Provides expertise and guidance to ensure that CM processes, plan and architecture are consistent and align with FedRAMP Continuous Monitoring Strategy and Guide, NIST SP 800-137 Assists in the sustainment of the Cloud Security Change Control process and dashboard Supports the tracking and monitoring of minor and major system changes, identifying significant changes, assessment of system changes, recommendations, and reporting of all changes in a weekly Continuous Monitoring Activity Report (CMAR) Monitors FedRAMP document repositories for monthly Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) updates Maintains the Cloud Continuous Monitoring dashboards Supports the review and analysis of CSPs and continuous monitoring to ensure CSPs and systems security risk posture remains acceptable Ensures records are maintained, security updates are promulgated, and staff are properly briefed Coordinates with organizational security teams to ensure program consistency and compliance with all security requirements Ensures systems and personnel comply with organizational and agency level security requirements Oxley Enterprises®, Inc. is a certified service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVOSB), economic disadvantaged woman-owned (EDWOSB), Small Business Administration Certified 8(a), HUBZone and small disadvantaged business (SDB) that has over 22 years of experience building and delivering quality IT systems and programs.
