North Perimeter Contractors, LLC is the general contractor managing the construction of barrier-separated collector-distributor (CD) lanes along I-285 and SR 400, new flyover bridges, reconstruction of existing ramps, and reconstruction and widening of existing bridges in the interchange area. Our team is looking for an Associate Project Manager Intern who can overcome obstacles and push a project forward. http://www.enr.com/articles/39307-design-build-finance-contract-moves-forward-in-georgia The Associate Project Manager Intern will assist construction teams by perform tasks and duties listed below: DUTIES Perform quantity take-offs. Perform cost estimates. Prepare labor schedules. Order and receive materials, supplies, tools, and equipment. Process change orders. Recommend solutions to design changes throughout construction process. Manage subcontractor scope of work respective to various contracts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or equivalent. Excellent command of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of construction safety and current federal & OSHA Requirements is preferred Strong attention to detail; ability to recognize discrepancies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Should have broad knowledge of project scheduling and cost control; able to understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings Dynamic thinker with the desire to lead, motivate and mentor teams Self-starter with the ability to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality and productivity Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Suite Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail North Perimeter Contractors.
