The Point Casino and Hotel is looking for an energetic and capable VGD Lead Network Support Technician to join its team! JOB SUMMARY The VGD Lead Network Support Technician is responsible for the maintenance and development of the VGD gaming network along with it's associated hardware and infrastructure. Assists the Gaming System Administrator completing projects on various hardware and software systems. Provides user support service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES I In relationship to job duties and job responsibilities; Ensures compliance with the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations, and The Point Casino Policies and Procedures. TCP/IP network administration & troubleshooting Installation, troubleshooting and repair of copper & fiber optic network media Virtual LAN, NAT, routing, and firewall administration Basic electronics troubleshooting Accurately document and explain complex processes. Maintain a professional, customer-friendly demeanor despite occasionally challenging guest interactions. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AA in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent experience in related work CompTIA A+ certification or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of being hired. Additional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA are preferred. Enterprise-grade hardware experience (servers, SAN, etc.). One to three years of on-the-job experience.
