Vehicle parking is on site.We have a full time opening for a Maintenance Assistant at our Albany, NY location. The Maintenance Assistant assists in organizing and performing a variety of functions related to the optimum operation of all buildings and properties.Responsibilities include: having a strong background in landscape maintenance including lawn mowing, flower maintenance, gardening and shrubbery/tree maintenance. This is to provide a carefully manicured appearance to all outdoor areas the ability to operate and maintain all mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers and other common tools maintaining the preventive maintenance schedule for all aspects o f the buildings and equipment assisting in monitoring the operation of the HVAC system, electrical, plumbing and maintaining the related equipment; may perform repairs to such equipment performing various carpentry and painting work sharing responsibilities of on call with the Director of Facilities maintaining professional discretion and confidentiality having an ability to react positively and productively to change participating in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals must have a clean, valid NYS driver's license
