Salary: $45,000 / Year FULL-TIME POSITION - IMMEDIATE START Location: Kigala - 2705 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90405 WE OFFER Competitive pay rate (based on education and experience in the ECE field) Benefit programs Paid holidays Paid vacation, PTO, and sick days ABOUT OUR SCHOOL A Kids Garden of Languages, a multilingual preschool in Santa Monica, California,offers Spanish, German, and English immersion programs for ages 2-6. Students and staff enjoy aninviting indoor and outdoor classroom learning environment, including an atelier/art studio. The hands-on, project and theme-based curriculum allows for exploration and collaboration, with exposure tovarious world cultures, traditions, and celebrations.Responsibilities, Qualification, Salary & Benefits (Include, but are not limited to): RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Maintain a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn● Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environmentwhere play and learning happen seamlessly● Day-to-day management of the school● Assist in the opening and/or closing of the Center● Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviorsand provide feedback● Support teachers with observation and documenting of children's developmentalmilestones● Assists teachers with managing behavior issues● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal● Tech savvy. Willing and able to learn new systems● Support director with licensing and state requirements● Assist in the enrollment process● Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing staff training and events QUALIFICATIONS: ● 3 + years prior preschool experience required;● Previous Assistant Director/leadership experience a plus.● Teaching certificate.
