Access Care Oklahoma has a rare opportunity to hire a full-time Provider Service Representative (PSR) who will assist network practices in meeting the requirements of the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). The PSR meets with healthcare providers across the state, representing their needs in CIN and payer discussions. By assisting providers in effectively managing and documenting patient care, and reporting the results as required by the CIN, the PSR will assist in providing better care for individuals, improving the health of patient populations, and lowering the growth in healthcare expenditures. ABOUT ACCESS CARE Access Care Clinically Integrated Network represents the interests of the state's independent providers in the world of value-based care. Through shared goals, contracts, protocols and data, we are committed to providing the right care in the right place at the right time to patients who see our network providers. Network providers share information to improve outcomes, manage costs, and enhance patient satisfaction. We bring the strength of Network participation, while allowing healthcare providers to retain their independence. A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF A PROVIDER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE A typical week for this person is focused on provider meetings and follow-through. The Representative goes to assigned practices and meets with the doctors and practice managers to educate them on the program and discuss ways to achieve results. They will probably meet with 3-4 practices a week, either in-person or virtually, in addition to calls and email communications. For example, if the quality improvement program is to do Annual Wellness Visits on 80% of their patients, the Representative may share lists of patients eligible for the service, monitor progress, offer tips for practices who have challenges, etc. Part of the week will be spent reviewing data for their assigned practices. For example, this could include identifying patients who have had hospital readmissions or avoidable Emergency Department visits, and then having discussions with the practice on possible interventions. The person will also typically participate in 2-3 internal meetings / calls per week to discuss practice performance, successes, and challenges. This could include brainstorming opportunities for improvement, or ways to celebrate great results. The goal is to help each practice be successful in these programs for value-based care. This person will spend quite a bit of time in the field, travelling to practices to educate and assist them as needed to achieve program goals. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROVIDER SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE Minimum 5 years healthcare experience, in a position requiring familiarity with clinical and office procedures and regulatory requirements. Experience with Microsoft Office software. If licensed professional, maintains regulatory compliance with federal and state laws and ongoing maintenance of professional competency.
