A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A GENERAL PRODUCTION WORKER As a General Production Worker, you come to work armed with energy, wit, and the willingness to pitch in with the team. Every member of our production team is a key contributor to the process of making manufactured housing by focusing on maintaining the highest quality, solid teamwork, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes. Because of your constant, clear communication, your team is able to achieve group goals. By accurately reading a tape measure, blueprints, and orders, you are able to expertly use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools to perform quality work. You keep your work area clean and well-maintained so that when there is a problem, you can easily report equipment faults to the maintenance staff. You love that you get to perform a wide range of duties throughout your day and never fail to keep quality and safety in mind. Every day is an adventure because no two days are the same in this exciting, fast-paced manufacturing setting. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent OR at least one month of related experience/training Ability to read a tape measure Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50 lbs Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired, but not required. If so, you may be perfect for this manufacturing position! WORK SCHEDULE The typical schedule for this position is 6:00 am - 2:30 pm during the spring/summer and 7:00 am - 3:30 pm during the fall/winter . Schedule may vary depending on production needs.
