Position : LTC Desk Nurse/LPN (Charge Qualified) Job Status: Full Time; 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Retirement Life Insurance Short Term Disability Long Term Disability Generous Paid Time Off Required Skills: Provide direction, assessment, supervision and evaluation of resident care Implement facility policies, procedures, and coordinates nursing activities with other services provided by members of health care team Provides supervisory direction and development of all CNA's Must be willing to coordinate day to day patient care activities Make rounds with physicians and perform order noting, order entry and communication follow-up Coordinate resident appointments, routine follow up, and perform various audits as needed Must be able to function/assist as charge nurse and provide back up for the Rehab program when needed Qualifications: LPN License in good standing for the State of Michigan BLS required ACLS preferred 2 - 3 years' experience in a health care setting preferred Able to carry out all LPN duties required of HNJH nursing staff Helen Newberry Joy Hospital does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability or any other classification in accordance with federal, state and local statutes, regulations and ordinances.
