Position Summary: Airbus Americas Engineering (AAE) operates two sites in Wichita, Kansas and Mobile, Alabama. The Wichita Engineering Center is primarily engaged in the design and analysis of aero structures and the Mobile Engineering Center is primarily engaged in the design and analysis of cabin and cargo components and systems. The Project Management Analyst is responsible for contributing to the achievement of team and project objectives; undertakes established project-related tasks or initiates, modifies or amends tasks as deemed necessary. Identifies appropriate methods and procedures necessary to complete assigned tasks within the agreed deadlines. Routinely analyzes project performance and presents recommendations and updates to team members and leaders as necessary. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for independent projects and providing expert support to teams requiring special skills, knowledge or assistance with project tools. Collects and supplies data and performs analyses measuring key performance indicators including, but not limited to: team metrics; risks and opportunities; workload forecasts/actuals; labor productivity; and schedule costs, and quality performance. Prepares routine project status reports and special reports that communicate team progress. Develops and maintains data, contacts, and evaluates external supplier and internal resources. Applies knowledge to ensure effective reporting and analyses of project status and to serve as a resource to other team members. Teaches others to develop reports that address specific needs and serve as a resource to team members. Other Duties: Collects, solicits, and maintains performance data and utilizes data tools to systematize the information for ease of use by individual and team projects. Works as an individual and team member and/or leader to resolve project suppliers and data issues applying recognized expertise and advanced communication skills. Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: (Please provide requirements for technical, behavior and dexterity skills.) Candidate shall be able to demonstrate these Key Competencies: Ability to manage projects on behalf of the Site Director Business acumen Organizational and planning Superior written and verbal communication Information gathering, monitoring, discernment and dissemination Problem analysis and problem solving Judgment and decision-making Initiative Confidentiality Attention to detail and accuracy Situational flexibility Education / Special Qualifications: (Certifications, Licenses, Clearances required) 3-5 years of experience which includes some project leadership experience and substantial analytical work involving costs; designs; resources allocation and interfacing with internal and external parties to achieve common goals. Experience representing or negotiating on behalf of a team. Education : Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.
