The Warehouse Training Lead for Batteries Plus will assist the Training Supervisor to create, execute and evaluate training programs. The Warehouse Training Lead will then effectively deliver those programs through a wide variety of mediums to support the Distribution Center operations. Please apply today! 1st Shift - Monday-Friday 6a-2p Responsibilities: Training (50-75%) Assists Training Supervisor in all necessary tasks to provide associates with an understanding of safety protocols and company regulations. Conduct training needs assessments and oversee the training function as directed by the Training Supervisor. Assist the Training Supervisor to develop, compose and compile training materials and other training aids such as equipment and visual aids Provide guidance and mentoring for the Training Assistant I and Training Assistant II Coordinate efforts to ensure the full utilization of all site training facilities, processes, resources, and equipment. Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Motivates and develops team members Resolve and respond to training issues and questions from leaders and associates on the application and interpretation of processes and company policies. Promotes the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in dealing with associates and management Thrives as a team player in a fast paced, high energy, change oriented environment Operational Functions (25-50%) Perform all duties of Warehouse Associate with the ability to flex in/out of Operations (Outbound) as business requires Drives continual improvement in both specific tasks and the overall warehouse operations. Ensure all work areas are orderly, clean and free of safety hazards Reinforce policies and safety rules as necessary Qualifications: 2 years of warehouse distribution center experience. Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of distribution center operations, receiving, shipping, pick/pack, forklift operation and be cross trained in all areas 2 years of experience in training/associate relations Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, training audits and procedure manuals Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Google Suite. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent An employment record of punctuality and excellent attendance Demonstrated presentation and public-speaking skills Demonstrated leadership capabilities Can drive understanding (i.e. using visual aids, able to recognize when a group or individual is lost and needs more attention) Self-directed and self-motivated, with good collaborative skills and a desire to help others improve and progress Strong oral and written communications Demonstrates sound judgment and organizational skills Ability to learn and adapt to new technology (WMS technology) A Bit About Us: Batteries Plus is the nation's largest and fastest-growing battery, light bulb, phone repair and key fob replacement franchise with a nationwide network of over 720 stores.
