Description:
*Must have an active Secret Clearance*Purpose: Support the processing, validation, initiation, review, call center/helpline, and submission functions associated with background investigation requestsResponsibilities: Support the full range of the personnel security investigation (PSI) submission process, from initiation to the final submission, for all members of the U.S. Army requiring a PSI for eligibility for access to classified information Contact applicants to get clarification for any information that was submitted Responsible for verifying that the appropriate investigation type is submitted by the requesting organization Identify the documentation required (resume, OF 306, fingerprints, investigation form type) to be submitted by the investigative subject and generates instructional email using the e-QIP system. Review the documentation submitted by the subject for quality and accuracy in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) requirements Utilize various security automation systems such as Defense Clearance and Investigative Index (DCII), Clearance Adjudication Tracking System (CATS), Unit Identification Code (UIC) databases, the Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP), and the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) in order to ensure the correct submission of the PSI to OPM Requirement: Active Secret Clearance High School diploma 1 year of experience in data entry or background investigations Strong customer service skills EEO/Drug-Free Workplace Statement:All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or protected veteran status.
