Hopitalist APC needed in Layton, Utah. The role is a daytime, advanced practice provider (APP) position, working part-time Monday-Friday, 9am-2pm as part of a team with physicians and other APP's. Full-time positions are also being considered. The position is open to Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant professionals. The candidate will be a member of an admitting/rounding hospitalist team that consists of two mid-level providers and a physician. Patients are co-managed with the physician; however, the role is largely autonomous. The hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and interventional services. The team has been together for 15 years, with a tradition of very little turnover, and a high degree of satisfaction among its members. The group emphasizes high quality patient care, ongoing professional growth, support and camaraderie among its members, and positive interactions with other staff (nursing, physicians, technicians, etc.).
