A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HELP DESK TECHNICIAN As an Educational Technologist, you play an essential role in maintaining the respect we have earned within the industry. Since people are our product, you are preparing to power our future growth as you continue gathering skills. You are the lifeblood of the talent pool for our senior engineers. You will work on all of the Acture product sets and more, including networking, data center, cloud, collaboration, cyber security, and physical security. You'll assist users through complicated help queries and correspond with customers on ongoing projects and maintenance. Working on assigned tickets in a timely and professional manner, you solve a wide variety of IT issues for our clients, so they can accomplish their organizational goals. You use diagnostics and give hands-on support at the desktop level, collaborating with teammates as needed. To be successful, you receive, prioritize, document, and actively resolve all help requests. You always show empathy and patience as you work with clients. When needed, you travel to visit them on-site and providing extraordinary in-person service. You get great satisfaction out of helping to make our customers' IT lives as simple as possible, so they can accomplish their real work! QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIST I 1-3 years of experience in IT support or similar role Experience with Microsoft and Google applications Ability to troubleshoot connectivity, networking, and printer access Ability to manage requests using a ticketing system Ability to apply business IT management principles such as work planning, testing, maintenance routines, data integrity, and security) Teaching adults about technology ala Apple store employee a plus Exceptional customer service skills ONSITE ROLE (Not Remote) Are you an active listener with the ability to explain technical information in layman's terms? Do you have a positive attitude? Will you consistently work hard for the team? Do you have intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously improve? Can you think on your feet?
