Where you can THRIVE ! ! The Trained Medication Assistant (TMA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The TMA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities: Create a fun, engaging and caring environment for our residents Under the direction of an RN, administer routine daily prescription or non-prescription medication to residents whose condition and drug regimen are stable Assist residents by providing social interaction, community connection, support, personal care, housekeeping duties and other tasks Assist the nurses and other staff as needed Administer constant, quality customer service to help our residents thrive Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Certification/current registration as a Trained Medication Assistant (TMA) Must have a high school diploma, GED or be a nurse aide currently active on the Pennsylvania registry One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred but not required Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English Knowledgeable about the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the CNA Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care Ability to work independently as well as part of a team The Waters is an equal opportunity employer proudly committed to a diverse workforce.
