miCare is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join the team! miCare delivers on-site primary care clinics to remove both access and cost barriers for enrolled health plan members, offering greater opportunity for education and engagement. This PA position is responsible for delivering office based primary care for males and females of all ages; includes chronic disease management with an emphasis on wellness along with acute episodic care. This is a part time role with flexible PT hours from 24-30hrs/week. Position Location : 362 N. Clovis Ave. Clovis, CA 93612 General Physician Assistant duties under the direction of the Physician: Utilizes knowledge and skills to care for patients under the conformance of current and recognized techniques, procedures and standards. Includes but not limited to: Physical examinations Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patients clinical problems and health care needs Records findings and formulates plan and prognosis Prescribes necessary prescriptions and other forms of treatment Refers appropriately to other fields of specialization Performs effective communication with miCare team and patient to ensure coordination of care. Acts as a role model in demonstrating the core values in customer service delivery. Provides timely and thorough follow up with, internal and external customers. Appropriately escalates difficult issues up the chain of command. Offers feedback and assistance in improving customer satisfaction. Recognizes and alerts appropriate supervisor of trends within their scope of responsibility that fall outside of quality parameters. Performs self quality monitoring in order to develop and execute plans to meet established goals. Collaborates with others and cross-departmentally to improve or streamline procedures. Provides feedback and develops new or improves current internal processes to optimize quality. Trains new employees as assigned. Required Experience / Education: Graduate of a physician assistant educational program Successful completion of the (NCCPA) examination; must maintain status as a certified physician assistant, including completion of all requirements for (CME) and re-certification Must possess and electronically upload proof of a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician Assistant in the State of Cailfonia 3+ years of clinical experience preferably in Family Practice or Internal Medicine Current BLS certification Working knowledge of computers and software including but not limited to Microsoft Office products Ability to maintain the confidentiality of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations What can Imagine360 offer you?
