Description:
CNC Machinists program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture parts to print. Our Machinists use precision measuring equipment such as height gauges, micrometers, calipers, pins, blocks, etc., to ensure the accuracy of parts. CNC Machinists operate mills and/or lathes (manual and CNC) to manufacture and inspect parts to specifications: reading and interpreting blueprints, using typical precision measuring instruments, and effectively communicating any deviation from tolerance. The largest production run for us is usually 20 pieces. This position requires High school diploma or GED Minimum 4 years experience Familiar with and able to program with Mazatrol, Tec Soft, Mori Seiki MAPPS III and/or Mori Seiki MAPPS IV, and MasterCam or similar Additional experience NIMS level I & II is a plus Technical Associates Degree highly preferred This position will require flexibility with work schedules and will ultimately work 1st or 3rd shift hours as the normal schedule. 6:00 am - 4:30 pm or 7:00pm - 6:30am.
