We are looking for a competent Patient Care/Clinic Coordinator, Medical Office Clerk to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of a busy Physical Therapy clinic. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office tasks and work diligently. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. The office environment is quiet, typically collaborating alongside only one or two other staff members. Responsibilities Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures Enter patient data with a high attention to detail Ensure chart completion Problem-solve Verify insurance benefits Speak to patient/POA regularly Perform administrative tasks as needed Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information Manage therapists in scheduling and timely documentation Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues Perform receptionist duties Skills Proven experience as an office manager Working knowledge of office equipment and data entry Excellent organizational and time management skills Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office
