Our headquarters in Moundridge employs around 300 employees. Join our team! SUMMARY Clean and maintain the buildings, manufacturing and office areas, and company grounds. Repair and maintain Company facilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Schedule, plan and carry out preventative and corrective maintenance job duties under the recommendation of the Facilities Supervisor Troubleshoot and oversee abnormalities to aid in smooth operations in a timely manner Involved in modification and installation of existing and new mechanical systems such as lighting, plumbing, irrigation, HVAC, and some small remodeling projects Responsible for general janitorial duties such as housekeeping, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning breakrooms, vacuuming, replenishing paper products, mopping floors, etc. Operate forklifts to transport and unload materials and dumpsters Operate other industrial equipment Perform preventative maintenance and detailing on Company vehicles Assist with special and seasonal projects Snow removal from grounds Setup and takedown of chairs and tables for company events Putting up and removing Christmas lights/decorations Remodel/construction projects Landscaping Other duties as assigned SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED Basic problem-solving skills Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment Ability to follow oral and written instructions Attention to detail Basic repair/maintenance skills Is consistently at work on time and ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent Takes responsibility for own actions Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals Completes tasks on time Quality focus Offers suggestions and participates in continuous improvement activities Team-oriented and able to work well with others EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED/PREFERRED General repair/maintenance/construction experience OTHER REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES Valid driver's license REGULAR WORKING HOURS 1st Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm M-F BENEFITS Competitive salary with annual performance evaluations Health Insurance Health, dental, vision, and prescription drug insurance No Waiting Period Coverage starts on the first of the next month following day 1 of employment Company-Paid Life Insurance Roth & 401(k) + Company Match PTO All new hires start with 40 hours of PTO on Day 1 Accrue 40 more each year Vacation 80 hours per year Paid Holidays Safety Shoe Allowance of $150/yr Tuition Reimbursement Reduced Fee Child Care at Cradle to Crayons in Moundridge Job Posted by ApplicantPro
