The New Business Specialist works alongside the Sales team to provide excellent service to member firms. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepares and processes annuity applications focusing on accuracy and timeliness Ensure data integrity is maintained with all documentation Coordinate New Business requirements by interacting with advisors, clients, third parties and case managers by email and phone Collaborate with internal and external partners to obtain and provide information to support operations functions Proactively review new business policies and follow-through on commitments Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Self-starter within framework of a team environment Ability to pay attention to detail and multi-task Strong analytical skills to review documents and reach sound decisions Solid written and verbal communications skills Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Microsoft Word and Excel Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce Experience with e-application platforms (e.g. Firelight) Experience in the insurance sector or with RIAs with a focus in Operations Processing or Customer Service Working Conditions Standard office environment. Employee may be required to frequently stand, walk, and sit with extended periods of time in front of digital screens.
