RELYANT Global, LLC is currently looking for experienced Trailer Delivery Technicians to join their team in Deland, Florida and the surrounding areas to work on delivery and installation of travel trailers to assist with Hurricane Ian Relief. The Delivery Technician must be capable of driving a truck (F250 comparable), with a trailer attached for delivery and set up. Set up includes leveling, blocking, and anchoring on site. Ideal candidates must have a valid driver's license, be in good standing on a motor vehicle report, and have experience and knowledge of trailer set up. Responsibilities Prepare and deliver travel trailers to various sites Set up, block, level and anchor trailers upon delivery Execute necessary work orders while determining best methods for installations Track all parts and materials used in installation activities Plans sequence of functions necessary for installation projects Performs duties at company established performance levels Keep supervisor appraised of work progress Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or QC designee Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED (required) Valid Driver's License and clean driving record A minimum of 1-year experience in setting up, blocking, and anchoring trailers of various types Capable of maneuvering and manipulating trailers during installation Prior experience working on FEMA related projects (a plus) Experience working in pre-fabricated mobile home structures (a plus) Successful demonstration of working with minimal supervision The ability to communicate effectively Willingness to work in high pressure situations and projects with tight deadlines Ability to work with various materials on the worksite in a knowledgeable fashion Must pass a background check and MVR Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Physical Demands Individuals must have the ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of workday and capability to move within the field. Any person in this position needs the ability to operate any field equipment used within the Construction Industry. There is a requirement to traverse multiple terrain types in outdoor weather conditions along with the ability to position self in a stoop, kneel, or crouch position. Individuals must be able to wear full construction PPE and have ability to enter confined spaces.
