HIRING: PIPELAYER Layton Services is an excavation company that has been family-owned & operated for 30+ years. We specialize in site work (mass excavation, building pads, sub-grade prep) and underground utilities (water, sanitary, storm). We are located in Newark with majority of our work in Columbus, Ohio. Summary of Position: Responsible to lay pipe for: storm or sanitation sewers, drains and waterlines (main or service). Responsible to install pipe bedding and seal joints. Responsible to labor and operate (or learn to operate) as needed. Education and/or Experience: Industry related experience is preferred Trenching and Excavating Certificate (can obtain once hired) 10 hour OSHA Certificate in construction (can obtain once hired) Reliable transportation Must possess the ability to relate well to others, a positive attitude and willingness to learn What's In It For You?
