This position is eligible for up to a $200 new hire retention incentive and includes free employee membership to the Renaud Center. The City of O'Fallon is looking for an energetic and experienced team member for the position of Theater Worker - Visting Director . Are you looking for a part-time opportunity where you can use your know-how and skills in performing arts elements and skills? Our Theater Workers enjoy a fun work environment and earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of pay of $13.55 hourly. This position will run for the duration of the seasonal production run. As part of our Parks and Recreation Department, this position plays an important role in providing instruction in community theater. The ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required. This position will run for the duration of the production run. As a Theater Worker, your duties and responsibilities will include: Crafting or procuring theater props and costumes Designing, building and dressing sets Overseeing all aspects of theater production, including working with actors and the tech crew Assisting in technical aspects of the play, including sound and lights We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable in all aspects of theater, who has excellent public relations skills. This p erson should be comfortable leading a group and teaching individuals. Could this be the opportunity for you?
