Description:
Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times. Assist customer onsite with waste management program such as waste collection, bulking, waste area inspections. Assist Field Chemist in the segregation of chemicals by hazardous class Utilize thorough knowledge of storing and processing procedures based on Customer's SOPs and Heritage's protocols. Develop good client relationships by effectively communicating with customers Communicate effectively with project manager regarding customer's needs. Perform basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties. Operate a fork truck, skid-steer with attachments. Heritage believes that each employee makes a significant contribution to our success. Therefore, this position description is designed to outline primary duties, qualifications and job scope, but not limit the incumbent nor the company to just the work identified. It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some science college courses preferred. Experience: 1 year of related experience required. 40 hour HAZWOPER Training completion required. Knowledge and Abilities: This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function. Good working knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations required. Good knowledge of general industry practices required. Ability to lift 60 pounds. Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator.
