Director of Finance SI2 Technologies' (SI2) mission is to enable our country's warfighters to win by supplying solutions to RF/MW and survivability challenges. With the integration of the finance team across the ARA enterprise, SI2 is currently looking for a highly qualified, collaborative Director of Finance, with excellent leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and experience managing a diverse financial and administrative team to support SI2s efforts with the Department of Defense. The Director of Finance will report directly to the ARA CFO with dotted line responsibilities reporting to the SI2 GM. Job Description: The Director of Finance will lead, manage and be accountable for the operations of the Company's finances, office administration, IT, and facilities. To fulfill these responsibilities, you will lead a team of internal and external resources with the diverse skill set needed to perform these functions. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of individual contribution and team leadership which directly contributed to the growth and success of a small business serving the Department of Defense and DoD prime contractors. You will demonstrate, model, and reinforce SI2's core values. In addition, you will meet weekly to review and solve issues facing the Company, meet quarterly to review and reset metrics, goals, and objectives, and meet with Corporate to review Company plans and performance and solicit input and guidance. Financially, you will develop the fiscal year forecast and budgets with quarterly, monthly, and weekly projections, monitor financial performance against the projections, perform on-going strategic analysis and provide recommendations to improve the Company's financial performance. Other financial responsibilities include cashflow management, month, and year end close, and government contracting requirements including Provisional Billing Rate Proposals, Incurred Cost Proposals, Government Property and DCAA/DCMA audits. Other responsibilities include direct management of FP&A, and direct reports being the controller, IT/Facilities, and Program Finance. While these functions involve a wide range of activities (e.g., new employee set-up, capital equipment, leasehold improvements, etc.), they are integral to other responsibilities of this position. Required Education and Experience: U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline with 10+ years of Finance and Business Administration experience in the defense industry Familiarity with distinct types of Contracts including CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc. and associated revenue recognition. Experience leading finance and administrative teams Verified record of financial analysis and strategic planning within the defense and aerospace industry, showing a positive impact on Company performance Ability to manage multiple multi-disciplinary pursuits concurrently. Proficient organizational skills: initiative-taking, detail-oriented, enjoy teamwork and excel in a dynamic environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and advanced Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Occasional travel will be required. Desired Education and Experience: Small business experience Master's degree in business or related discipline Experience working with contracts, program managers and technical experts Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR and contracting and pricing principles Experience with Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) Experience with CostPoint ERP system SI2, an ARA company, Encourages diversity in the workplace; we are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
