Family Preservation Program (FPP) Program Manager

This position manages the overall supervision and implementation of Family Preservation Programs to include Families Together Building Solutions, Foster Care Supportive Visitation, Parent Visitation Program, Family Skills Program, Advanced In Home Program, and to expand the volume of FFPSA services delivered by our organization annually. This position requires a flexible schedule, including 24 hour/7 day a week holiday and weekend availability, to assist with staff emergencies and specific needs. Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the Child Welfare Director and is under the general supervision of the President and CEO. Responsibilities: Oversees the Parents and Children Together (PACT) and Advanced In-Home (AIH) programs, and Parents Using Life Skills Education (PULSE). Provides direct supervision to FPP Supervisors. Provide ongoing support to supervisors and direct workers. Coordinates overall program activities and oversees contract compliance. Responsible for reviewing monthly billings for accuracy and submission to AOI Child Welfare Director and Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) for each county. Responsible for achieving established annual goals and participation in Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) Knowledge of DHHS contracts, implementation of contract services and understanding of contract requirements. Knowledge of Child Welfare policies relative to foster care and each individual program. Coordinates weekly individual supervision. Coordinates weekly program staff meetings. Ensure all staff are trained in Parent as Teachers and Nurturing Parenting curricula and maintain certification as needed. Attends PAFC/DHHS collaboration meetings as scheduled or needed. Fosters productive relationships with local DHHS, courts, and other community service providers. Participate in FTM's, case conferences, and other meetings as needed. Understanding of strength-based programs. Provide direct service to families as needed. Aids in selecting and hiring program team staff. Ensures timely completion of Agency related orientation and trainings for assigned staff. Will maintain flexible work schedule to include working in-office 3 days a week. Assist in writing and submission of grants and RFPs that will both sustain our current programs and increase the type, scope, and volume of services delivered while improving the sustainability of our entire Family Preservation Program Department . Requirements: Education : Master of Social Work Experience: Minimum of two years of experience working in Family Preservation Programs around issues such as parenting, abuse, neglect, discipline, household management, nutrition or budgeting. Training in Nurturing Parenting Program and Parent as Teachers. Other Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills. Excellent assessment skills. Demonstrate strong organizational skills. Demonstrate initiative and strong leadership abilities. Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate proficiency in accomplishing tasks. Prior experience with Microsoft Office or other processing applications/programs. Satisfactory verification of criminal/abuse checks. Satisfactory verification of sex offender registry check.
