What will I do in this role with Garden Spot? As an LPN , supporting the Garden Spot Communities' mission will include the following responsibilities: Communicate pertinent information during between shifts to ensure continuity of resident care. Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action. Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action immediately. Provide supervision to Nursing Assistant providing direct resident care. Administer and document direct resident care, medications and treatments per physicians' orders and accurately record all care provided. Document resident progress notes as required. Give daily instruction to Nursing Assistants regarding care related to treatment. What do I need for this role with Garden Spot? Current and valid LPN license in PA. GPN's (Graduate Practical Nurses) also eligible! Organizational skills and do sequential events. Possess initiative, judgment, dependability, and leadership skills. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact and respond appropriately to resident, families, physician and all other visitors/customers on the unit.
