Overview : The NJ Statewide Student Support Services (NJ4S) network, created regional hubs aligned with court vicinages and Children's System of Care service areas, to support statewide delivery of prevention services in schools, as well as other locations in the community including but not limited to: libraries, community centers, faith-based-organizations and family success centers. The hubs would be the administrative and organizational center, staffed by a director, support staff, prevention specialists and mental health counselors who will be mobilized to delivery services locally, when and where they are needed, both in school and community settings. Most importantly the hub staff will have the ability to connect students and their parents/caregivers with other community services, both clinical and non-clinical, beneficial to student social, emotional and mental health and well-being Job Function: The NJ4S Hub Director is responsible for the overall clinical and administrative management of the NJ4S Program to include program and fiscal performance, program goals, and daily operations. The Hub Director will be responsible for ensuring that all levels of the Program are trauma-informed, collaborative and inclusive of the appropriate stakeholders' feedback and suggestions. The Program Director is a critical conduit in building effective Collaborative Partnerships and ensures that services are reflective of community need as well as ensuring the program is functioning in accordance with DCF guidelines. To qualify for the Hub Director position, you need to have the below minimum requirements and experience: Master's degree in related field, preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience, required. Minimum of 10 years' experience managing large scale programs (projects) that support youth, families, or school faculty, 5 years of which should be in a supervisory capacity. Experience implementing evidence-based treatment and prevention programs is strongly preferred. Ability to work with diverse, high-risk populations in need of support services and case management. Strong written and verbal communication skills, cultural competency required Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record. To be a successful HUB Director you must be able to do the following essential duties and responsibilities: Responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and directing the overall operations of the NJ4S Hub in order to ensure all children within the vicinage school districts have efficient access to mental health supports. Oversight and management of NJ4S Hub team members Program leadership and coordination, including school and community stakeholder outreach, service provider network engagement, data management, program evaluation and outcomes monitoring. Oversees case review/school needs assessment process and providing direct services to students and parents/caregivers according to Tier eligibility. Ensures proper maintenance of documentation requirements. Ensures availability of performance measurement data for review and analysis. Evaluates and drives risk management process improvements, efficiencies and workflow enhancements. Develops regular forums for communication with local partners and stakeholders, as well as programming that is responsive to community needs. Collaborates with various stakeholders to develop ideas and implement strategies that address community challenges.
