Overview Summary Business application team member with ownership and lead responsibility for maximizing value of Changepoint Professional Services Application. Leverages business and system acumen towards continued evolution of service-oriented processes and related systems which support critical Logicalis strategies and business objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Owns Changepoint application including life cycle system maintenance and evolution, all system architecture decisions, evolution of system processes/functions, user support, training, issue tracking/analysis/resolution, report writing and system upgrades. * Provides technical capabilities allowing complete configuration of new production, development and testing environments. * Acts as lead architect in transforming Changepoint solution from current implemented configuration to identified future state which includes implementation of Work Breakdown Structures, budgeting, forecasting and revenue recognition; along with transition of integrations from Changepoint to ERP solution while moving PSA from engagement orientation to project level orientation.* Develops transition plan to future state including identification of required steps and objectives of each project phase; manages project and ongoing successful achievement of identified objectives.* Collaborates with other business application team members, as well as finance, delivery and sales resources, to review, analyze and improve business process and information flows. Contributes system knowledge and expertise to help identify potential approaches to meet various levels of business objectives.* Manages process and system adaptation for evolving business requirements, including business reorganizations and corporate acquisitions.* Appreciates and comprehends business impact of supported enterprise systems and effects of changes to those systems. Provides systematic understanding of functionality as well as business implementation of functionality for successful management and evolution of supported business applications.* Maintains enterprise and long-term application ownership perspective which includes ability to assess ongoing maintenance and support aspects of modifications/changes to system.* Maintains current, high level technical knowledge for Changepoint and its underlying technologies along with functional knowledge of Changepoint database architecture.* Employs strong SQL Server skills, development of queries, views and stored procedures, in order to analyze issues in system and assess impact of potential configuration changes. * Documents business application related processes/procedures using various tools including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Visio. Provides business stakeholders ability to perform complex Changepoint processes accurately and consistently.* Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.* Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.* Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience / Technical Requirements* 7 years' experience in designing, installing and integrating Changepoint PSA application. * Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities in order to identify and resolve environmental issues. * Familiarity with: o MS SQL Server architect o Internet Information Server configuration and optimizationo MS SharePointo Common desktop applications (MS Office)* Experience with business process and systems analysis as well as in-depth knowledge of professional services business.* Experience with enterprise application systems implementations, integration, and support.* Experience with Microsoft SQL including ability to develop queries for analytical purposes, reporting and system integration.Certifications* NoneOther Skills and Abilities * Strong project management skills with ability to develop and execute system evolution project plans.* Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and work in fast paced organization with ever changing priorities.* Ability to stay organized and document issues, actions, and procedures. * Ability to work a flexible schedule as required; occasional travel may be required. * Excellent organizational and self-management skills, including ability to organize time and work on multiple tasks and follow-through to completion of task or project. * Strong analytical and problem solving skills and experience applying these skills to improve processes and technology. * Results-oriented self-starter with strong work ethic and high attention to detail.* Excellent oral and written communication. * Excellent interpersonal skills.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
