Craft-Bilt is a 77 year old family-owned manufacturing company. We manufacture and continue to develop new products for the residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets such as retractable awnings, sunrooms, aluminum and architectural glass railing, and aluminum waterproof decking. We recognize that our employees as our greatest asset and provide them with a great place to work! Are you a hands-on HR manager and leader? Your primary responsibilities will include recruiting/ talent management, benefits administration, employee relations, safety and workers compensation, training and development, and guidance as a key member of our management team. SELECT KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Work with management team and individual departments to set and plan future direction on all company personnel matters including hiring, retention, benefits, policies, procedures, and practices all in support of our mission statement. Manages and conducts recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding efforts for all personnel. Administers employee benefits programs including open enrollment for our 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental, vision, term life, AD&D insurance, and disability programs. Manages our employee relations and company-wide communications. Serves as a member of our Safety Committee, a liaison to our OSHA Sharp program, our membership in the National Safety Council, and helps to foster an environment where we can celebrate thousands of days without a lost time incident. Maintains personnel files, our employee handbook, and all of our other employee related documentation in compliance with applicable legal requirements. A detailed written job description will be reviewed during a face-to-face interview. EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field and a minimum of 4 years senior-level human resources generalist experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Updated certifications strongly preferred in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM, SCP) and Benefits (CEBS). Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Must be proficient in math, reading, writing, and job-related computer programs including Microsoft Office. Possesses excellent communication, telephone, and organizational skills, being able to interact well with applicants, employees, management, administration, and manufacturing, while satisfactorily managing and completing multiple assignments. Possesses exceptional judgment, initiative, discretion, and tact in all areas of responsibility while maintaining high levels of confidentiality. Ability to work daily at our manufacturing facility in Souderton, PA. Your work day will generally be between 7:30 AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday.
