We cater to a wide range of industries including stationery, gift, housewares, home appliances, and sporting goods. Our processes include: large format printing, silk screening, CNC machining, vacuum forming, edge banding, finishing, plastic fabrication, custom/studio work, assembly and packaging, warehouse and shipping. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PLANT MANAGER As a Plant Manager, you are responsible for the management of every aspect of production from receipt of the design request through machining, fabrication, packaging, and shipping. Your excellent leadership and ability to maintain an environment of accountability keeps everything running like a well-oiled machine. You direct all employees engaged in production such as department managers, machine operators, cabinet makers, and fabricators. Your ability to collaborate with other departments is also a key to your success. You are passionate about efficiency, quality control, and safety! You carefully inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions. You are goal-oriented and hire, train, motivate, mentor, and coordinate employees with an understanding of the important role that they play in the efficient production of quality products. Your good people and problem-solving skills help resolve problems and grievances. While you enjoy engaging your analytical mind as you apply metrics to adjusting processes and procedures, you don't mind getting "hands-on" with your team. You analyze records, taking into consideration policies, equipment, and labor as you determine standards, budgets, and goals. Using this information, you also get to help plan and develop new products and processes. Your attention to detail ensures that records are kept accurate and up-to-date. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PLANT MANAGER Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing experience, woods and plastics preferred Minimum of 5 years operational management role A bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or business administration Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office software Advanced interpersonal and supervisory skills to lead production team Are you revenue-oriented and customer-focused? WORK SCHEDULE PLANT MANAGER In this position, you would generally work the day shift on Monday through Friday from 6 am - 4 pm but would need the ability to work with 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed.
