Universal Presentation Concepts (UPC) is looking to a hire full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Madison, WI facility to help receive materials and prepare shipments of exciting new retail store fixtures and point of purchase (POP) displays! Candidates who are best suited for this position must have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task with exceptional time management and organizational skills to facilitate the warehouse, receiving, and manufacturing demands by interfacing with various departments and personnel. Common work duties include: Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists. Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria. Receiving and signing for deliveries. Unloading deliveries from trucks. Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items. Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas. Updating inventory with received items. Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems. Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc. Assist shipping and warehouse department as needed Support and follow safety guidelines Experie nce and skills needed to be successful: Warehouse, shipping, and receiving knowledge and experience preferred Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word Extreme attention to detail Forklift experience Good verbal and written communication skills Knowledge in inventory control beneficial What will my schedule look like? This is an hourly role generally working Monday-Friday on first shift. We can be flexible on start and end times as long as you are meeting business needs. Hourly team members typically work 40 hours each week and during high business need, overtime is offered on Saturdays.
