Join Our Growing Team - Job Summary: The Product Shipping Specialist - Primary focus is shipping finished products to the customer. The Shipping Specialist also helps with receiving incoming inventory and handles all the stocking of material as needed, manages inventory in the production shop system as needed helps with printing job travelers, and pulls material for jobs. The person is also responsible for organizing and keeping their area clean. The position is self-directed and collaborative. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure our customers get the best products possible. Essential Job Functions: * Ship finished products to customers. Ship inventory as needed to support orders. • Ensure the quality of each shipment. • Utilize - Communication and Time Management Skills. • Verify and receive all incoming inventory when needed • Stock inventory and manage inventory accuracy in the Production Shop System as needed • Print Job Travelers as needed • Pull and verify the correct material for each job. • Route received materials to the correct department, work order, or service order. • Work independently or with a team. • Utilize safe, quality practices. • Maintain inventory and production stock areas cleanliness and organization • Initiate process improvement to reduce material handling, improve material quality, grow inventory accuracy, and reduce material cost. Reduce production downtime related to inventory. • Cross-train and learn other functions as needed. Required Education and Experience Indicate education based on requirements that are job-related and consistent with business necessities. High school diploma or GED Experience driving a forklift Proactive communication and the ability to handle details with accuracy Experience with organizing, cleaning, and attention to detail Preferred Education and Experience 2-year associate degree or 4-year degree is a plus Warehouse, receiving, pulling, shipping, and inventory accuracy experience is a plus Experience with shipping standards to coordinate and reduce the cost of shipping is a plus Experience with production software is a plus Experience with process and quality improvement is a plus Quality or leadership experience is a plus Tobacco-Free Facility - 401(k). 401k 3% ER contribution after 1 yr of service, Dental Insurance, Employee discount, Flexible schedule, Flexible spending account, Health insurance, Paid time off, Professional development assistance, Vision insurance
