Sales Representative Northern Western, Wisconsin Position Summary: This position is responsible for successful business development and sale of Perkins Oil Company products and services in and around North Western, Wisconsin. Duties include identifying quality business opportunities, preparing and presenting proposals, leading negotiations, coordinating the decision making process and overcoming objections to closure. This position sells Perkins Oil Company products and services using technical product knowledge and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing and market planning. Sales area for this position extends West to St. Paul, East to Wausau, South to Wautoma and North to Ladysmith. This is an exciting opportunity for growth in this area of Wisconsin. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement a business development plan to grow market base through the acquisition of new customers and expanding the product offering to existing customers. Maintain established relationships, build new relationships and aid in the growth of existing relationships by working with the account decision makers for each client. Create presentations for various groups and provide product information. Develop and execute an annual marketing plan containing goals and objectives for the assigned market area. Report progress on a quarterly basis to the sales manager. Responsible for all accounts receivable and overseeing profitability in the assigned market area. Educate existing customer base and potential customers on specifications, products, and industry changes. Implement and execute vendor and Perkins Oil Company promotions and incentives. Respond promptly to all requests by phone and email. Follow established policies for all paperwork. Communicate issues and concerns to management in regards to competitive pricing and programs. Responsible for the creation of monthly sales reports. As a representative of Perkins Oil Company, treat all customers in a courteous and professional manger. Customer Service is one of our most important concerns. Minimum Education, Knowledge and Experience: High School graduate, some college preferred Excellent written communication skills Effective time management skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision 3-5 years wholesale or distribution sales experience Excellent relationship building skills Demonstrated problem solving skills Proficient in the use of computers with high level of proficiency in Windows applications with high level of proficiency in excel Accurate and detail-oriented.
