Introducing IFI, and why you want to be a Tiffin Ministry Leader with us: International Friendships, Inc. is a growing faith-based organization, whose mission is to extend life-changing hospitality and friendship to international college students. We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips. Expected work schedule for the Tiffin Ministry Leader : Full- or part-time, flexible schedule Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific events/projects Attendance at several conferences each year, including IFI Staff Retreats Pay structure for a Tiffin Ministry Leader : Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses Training is provided to develop a team of ministry partners Pay range is typically between $24,960 and $72,800 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factors Tiffin Ministry Leader Benefits : Paid vacation, sick, holidays, and more (once eligible) Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for eligible staff Flexible hours and work-from-home availability Work for a growing Christian organization Staff care to support mental, social, and spiritual health for all staff About the area and Responsibilities of a Tiffin Minister Leader With over 300 international students at Tiffin and Heidelberg Universities seeking to pursue unique and renowned undergrad and graduate programs, TU and HU attract a variety of international students and faculty thanks to long-time international university partnerships and exchange programs in Asia and the Middle East. A Ministry Leader with IFI will work with local churches and universities to serve international students in Tiffin and share the good news! The Tiffin Ministry Leader will: Service to international students: Start a bible study, have events, and maintain at least one discipleship relationship Register IFI as a recognized student organization, maintain that registration, and maintain a good relationship with other campus international organizations Foster relationships with campus staff and organizations Begin to establish partnerships with local churches Work to mobilize volunteers to help with IFI activities Develop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role by sharing the vision of the ministry Qualifications needed from the Tiffin Ministry Leader, including Spiritual Characteristics Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies Is faithful, loyal and dedicated to IFI's mandate from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the Gospel Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently Be a self-starter, able to work independently, as well as a team player Ability to work under stress and be flexible Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications Education/Experience Required for a Tiffin Ministry Leader: Bachelor degree (or higher) in education and/or ministry-related field or demonstrated experience mobilizing, training, and ministering to people International Friendships, Inc.
