The Supply Chain Manager will manage and direct the central supply and purchasing support services and personnel. Responsible for the overall strategic leadership in the development and oversight of standards, systems, policies, and procedure that align with organizational strategic initiatives and performance goals. This position serves as the primary advisor to the senior leadership team and the Board of Directors and leads the department workforce, system wide value analysis, supply expense management, vender contracts, equipment rental, capital expense and tracking, internal and external stakeholder relationships, and customer service. This position is responsible for the coordination of the purchasing function in its entirety and serves as a role model across the system and represents VMH in the highest regard within and outside the organization. Bachelor's degree in a business-related field with one year experience in a supervisory position preferred. Two years purchasing experience in a health care facility strongly preferred.
